Magnolia stellata

After several weeks of coughing, we finally decided that Pete and I were well enough to go and visit his Mum - we hadn't wanted to risk passing anything on to her. I took scones, jam and cream, which Molly thoroughly enjoyed. She certainly has a good appetite!

Molly seemed quite cheerful, and the visit went mostly without incident. However, it became clear that she has somehow developed a strange delusion regarding an imaginary new member of the family. We tried to re-assure her that this wasn't true and that probably a dream had somehow become confused with reality, but she's a very stubborn lady and I don't think she really believed us. Interesting times...
