Abstract Thursday - Filtered

In search of the legendary beer rabbit we went off to Wotton, walking rather than driving since it was such a lovely day. By the time we'd made Wotton Hill and stopped off at the clinic to collect prescriptions (and check blood pressure on the calibrated machine - 103/68&87bpm, not bad after that climb) we went in search of the beer and waited for his visit. A couple of pints later and we were rewarded by his shadow, as he watched from yonder window. Well, something like that, anyhow.

Ok, so I can't remain serious. Life is too serious. The climate is fragged, and our so-called political elite is spending all its time playing ip-dip with a bunch of frankly dreadful alternatives. Tomorrow is the day we would have crashed out of the EU without a plan, and that's still an option ahead simply because the MP's refuse to voice the truth - that we are pretty well off in the EU and none of the alternatives are better. The love that dare not speak its name?

The world is mad. Why not go mad with it.
