Stein sees no kites

"Stein" is the Nom de plume of a Chinese Student studying at St Andrews and we are his Host Family arranged through the University.

During lunch we had been telling him about the kite club that meet at the North End of West Sands and after we drove to the beach. Just as he walked to the beach the last kite fell to the sand, and that was when I took this Blipfoto. At least he now knows where the kites fly.

Yesterday while photographing the Labyrinth I managed to lose my house keys. Although I searched I could not find them.

This morning Pat and I went back and retraced my steps, all 5000 of them. Pat won the prize when she spotted them sitting on a stone wall where some kindly dog walker had put them after spotting them in the grass nearby.

Much relief all round, and a much more enjoyable lunch at the Balgove Steak Barn.
