On a More Intimate Scale

After the wonderful time in the Lake District over the last few days it was back to the local vistas this morning.  Not that you could see much, as fog enveloped the area as sunrise arrived.  I do love these types of conditions though I was frustrated that the sun didn't make an appearance until the afternoon.  The combination of mist and a low sun is often magical.

Lots of new growth is evident and I must admit to not noticing the flowers on these bushes in the past.  They had a lovely pinkish tinge which I hope I've been able to reproduce in the image.
