Mothering Sunday Walk

I was careful to use the correct term for the day, which I was delighted to be informed was traditionally the day that girls in service were given the day off to visit their Mothers and take simple cake. It is also the day we remember our Mother church.  On the other hand we just invited L's mother around for Sunday dinner.

It was also a moment to reflect on those no longer with us.
