Another back blip
Don't know if we had another nice sunrise (see yesterday) - no-one was up early enough to see! However it was a lovely day and after a leisurely breakfast and packing we went for a wander down to the harbour to explore a bit - great views across the Forth and a poser (extras).
Then went our separate ways, which for Mr Rat and me was a visit to the nearby National Museum of Flight, well worth a visit (but beware if it's very wet as you have to go outside a lot).
When young I lived between Scampton and Waddington airfields and the skies were dominated by patrolling Vulcans, incredibly noisy. Occassionally they took off over our school and lessons were severely disrupted.
Then back home and a Mothers' Day (where does the apostrophe go?) visit, flowers and a card from son and family.
