White cherry blossom

The cherry trees in the garden are looking fabulous with their white blossom, especially in the sunshine against a blue sky.

In spite of my not-so-little sister's warning yesterday, Mummy hazelh caught her train from Newcastle as planned, and we collected her from Waverley station this afternoon. She will be in residence in Edinburgh until the end of the week.

This morning Mr hazelh mowed the lawn in honour of our visitor. Meanwhile I tidied the flat.

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike, small amount of walking (6352 steps).
