THE DUTCH SKY ABOVE THE NORTH SEA

in Kijkduin. Seen on our walk this morning. As always a beautiful view of the sea and the clouds above.

Today we cycled to the sea in the morning because rain was forecasted but in the afternoon.
We walked southwards, the beach abandoned almost totally.
The clouds in the sky blackened at some moment, but mostly in the East. We reached a point where we saw seagulls and there we returned.
It started ro rain, firstly softly, but it grew, and the outpouring that we had crossed so easily on our start had deepened and the water gushed in our wellies.
Now it was raining hard. We reached our bikes and cycled home.
We took a hot shower and all was well again.
A lazy afternoon followed.
