Sissinghurst.

We drove to Sissinghurst today. I've never been and have wished to visit for many a year.  It is delightful and the staff were very informative and interesting talking us through the history of the site.  We walked up to the top of the Tower - fabulous views from up there. 
We wandered around the various 'garden rooms' and could see what a splendid sight they would be in full summer.  The meadow was beautiful with many snake's head fritillaries, narcissi and daffodils as well as many other flowers.  The White Garden was looking good already with a glorious magnolia in flower along with tulips etc.  There is some work ongoing to restore the gardens to Vita's original scheme.
