Prunus Avium

Our sorting out continued today. So much done, so much still to do. That's life I guess.

We took time out for a brief visit to our local nature reserve. Everywhere - on the way there, and within the reserve itself - the wild cherry is in flower. These trees really do stand out in the landscape at the moment. I love them.

We've got a really big one less than 100 yards from us. The reason why we'll be getting cherry stones deposited on our garden later in the year, a momento of the bird's feasting on the fruit.
