Art at the Villa Villekulla

Dear Diary,

Before heading home to Maine my cousin and I went to an Open Studio in Newton at an amazing house.  It was built in 1891 as the stable for an estate but converted to a home in 1911.  It is named after Pippi Longstocking's big, whacky and crazy house.  It was filled with amazing art but I was so taken by the glass pieces.  This is Chika, their greyhound rescue.  Extras of more of the glass and a photo of what the stables looked like in 1895.

I can't believe it, it's snowing again!  We had lost a lot of snow while I was gone.
