Yellow Tulips

At Judy's where I had gone for a singing session. The voice was sounding strong. Judy asked me if I'd had a good night's sleep, which made me realise that there are benefits to going to bed at 10 pm.

The tulips look wonderful without any photographic tarting up but I wanted to add a dreamy feel to them. Must be John Blakemore's influence. He spoke at the meeting on Sunday and is renowned for his series of photos of tulips.

Another thing about him, he finishes a project and is never tempted to return to it. I don't know what marks the end of a project. Sometimes he doesn't even touch his camera for a year or more.

On to see Sue and Kal. Kal and Basil were pleased to see each other after a long period. As Shauna said, they're both getting senior as neither jumps around as they used to do.

Then back over the Forest to shop at Sainsburys. I felt an urgent need to buy salad veg, Then to the vet to pick up anti flea treatment for Baz and finally to Pets at Home to pick up some senior meat trays for him.

I celebrated not having to go out tonight by making myself a pizza, accompanied by loads of salad leaves sprinkled with balsamic dressing.
