All the Zoomie Little Horses

It has been lots of fun visiting the horse barns to meet and greet the new arrivals this spring. I try to stop several times each week, even if only for five minutes or so each time.

Wednesday gave us a lovely morning that turned into a really nice day. I arrived to discover the little ones were full of zoomies. Zoom here! Zoom there! Zoom zoom, everywhere!

There were three sets of mamas and babies out and about on this morning. My attention was caught by the palomino pair, who were very affectionate with each other. Featured in the photo above is a colt by PSU He Rox The Nite out of Luva Chex. Doesn't he look like he's laughing?

I watched the horses for a while, taking pictures, and I caught a pretty neat mom-and-son photo that almost looked like a horse selfie. You may see the two of them together in the shot in the extras. There sure is a family resemblance!  :-). :-). Also of note: tiny horse whiskers!
