Blackbird Saga!

Wet and windy and 4 degrees today!  Not good news about my Blackbird  -  he stood on the fence for quite a while as usual this morning but, as you can see from my blip, another leg appeared.  It is obvious he has kept it hidden because it hurts and feels better kept tucked up.  I have slightly darkened the affected leg (probably better seen enlarged) so that you can see the injury more clearly.  Or perhaps the Extra!  I should think it is the result of the avian pox that I reported a few weeks ago.  He seems to have recovered from that, but unfortunately it has left him with a malformed foot.  However, he does look in good form now, and his daily visits are proof of that  -  brave Blackbird.
