Stripped Bark

With the snow from yesterday melting rapidly, I struggled to find anything interesting today. My mind had already moved onto spring mode and here I was trying to find compositions amongst the sparse snow cover.

Eventually came across some bark that had stripped off the log above it and was looped around a branch. I liked the rich texture, the shapes created by it and the contrast between the inside and outside of the bark.
