I'm often surprised by what I find and then I'm glad that I discovered the delights of exploring with a camera. Not only is it a challenge to try and locate something new each day, but later when editing and on reflection, images take on new meaning and importance.

I imagine these two trees entwined together by their roots, existing symbiotically, sharing the same soil and nutrients, like a couple sharing life's journey.

I had to get down low with a wide lens to emphasise the foreshortening effect on the roots which create leading lines towards the trunks.
