Elusive

The kingfisher has been much more elusive in the past few days - I was very fortunate to get a shot of him today, even though I had lots of river grasses to contend with. This was taken handheld at full zoom but is uncropped to show the environment - it was very difficult to focus through the grass, especially as it was quite breezy and he was only there a few seconds!

The weather is looking less favourable tomorrow - my blip probably won't be a bird......
