In my Shred Basket

During the winter this basket stays empty because Pipersdad uses the shredded paper to start the wood in the fireplace.  As I was looking around the room for something to photograph "from a different viewpoint" I saw it.  I shot into the shreds with my lens balanced on the side of the basket for my abstract today.  I used a "chalk" filter to make it a little more interesting.  Many thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursdays!

I am grateful that I finally felt well enough to go back to water aerobics today.  It's sad amazing how fast my fitness slips away when I don't exercise regularly!  It's supposed to be a beautiful day tomorrow so I think it may be time to get my bike out of the basement and out on the road!
