After 43 years!

We grew up together, living 3 houses apart, until we were 16/17 years old.  Today we saw each other for the first time in 43 years.

I began my day by going to to Sutton Lake Boat ramp and seeing the sunrise there and then watched as 2,000 crass carp were unloaded into the lake.

I got home in time to do a couple of small chores before my special guests arrived from Ontario, Canada.  MaryLou, Chris and grandson, Owen were on their way to spend a week with family in Myrtle Beach and took a slight detour to see me.

We had a wonderful time and a great dinner together on the water at Elijah's.  Totally comfortable like it wasn't that huge 43 year span since last time.  Please don't let it be 43 years before the next time!
