Elephants Galore, The Big 5, & More

What a day! We set out at 6am and by 3.30pm we’d seen way more wildlife than we could have hoped for. Kruger National Park is about the size of Wales and the safari trucks stick to made roadways, so we are well aware that we were extremely lucky to see so many animals.

The main blip was a really really tough choice, with so many shots to choose from. We saw some baby elephants that were so cute but I think my main blip is my favourite shot.

Whilst the main blip is mine, the extras are a selection of the best from the four of us. Rather than keep swapping lenses, we passed cameras around depending on who was sitting in the truck with the best view of of the wildlife at any given moment.

Each extra is identified in a clockwise direction starting from top left.

Buffalo
Lion
White Rhino
Leopard (really needed the big zoom but we could just see it without binoculars)

Female impala without

Vervet Monkey
Crocodile (eating Warthog)
