The Naughtiest Sandwiches Ever! EB

A friend in Girlguiding posted this idea on fb and I had to try it. These delicious ‘super diet’ creations are chocolate mini egg filled fried bread sandwiches! They are made by cutting a circle from a slice of bread with a pastry cutter. Then two halves of a mini egg are folded inside the bread circle which is sealed with a drop of milk and edged with a fork. They are then fried in butter and...OMG they’re so good.

The fine weather has broken; it rained last night and today was grey and a little chilly. We cycled though (good job, with those fried sandwiches coming!) and watched one of several Cirque du Soleil shows available free on YouTube. Breathtaking & mesmerising.

Also saw the female Tawny Owl again tonight. We hear hooting all day so we think there are youngsters in the conifer opposite our house.
