The Flying Lemons Are Back!

Dear Diary,

Last week it was the Red Polls and now my "Flying Lemons" have returned, right on schedule.  The wonderful DDW christened them flying lemons and now I can't think of these Yellow Finches by any other name.  This is a female, perhaps a bit less lemony looking that the male.  More like an under ripe lemon.  Still, it is so nice to see them again.  My beautiful Purple Finch have returned as well.  I think they take the same flight north!  I haven't been able to get a good one of them yet but when I do you will see it!
