Our Pear’s blossom

For today, see this time last week, we did exactly the same.

We managed to finish the border by the fence and began replacing the rotting wooden footways with grass paths made from sods cut as a result of narrowing existing grass paths.

We were accompanied all afternoon by a pair of robins who were diligently collecting morsels that were exposed with our digging. It seems like they’ve built a nest in the compost bins as we saw them dodging in via the slats of a pallet that make up our bins. So tame and inquisitive, cocking an anticipatory eye as they wait at your feet for the next grub to take away. A joy to see.
