Urban Landscape

We started with a wonderful hike on a dirt path that winds around the hill where our host lives. Forever views across canyons and into the city, mountains over here and tall buildings there in the distance, wildflowers in every direction. I still can’t reconcile this wilderness with being in the city. We have breakfast with our family, lunch at a dumpling house, and dinner at a Salvadoran restaurant, continuing the broad spread of delicious food that we’ve indulged in for the past few days. In between bites, we talked and walked and dozed and talked some more.

The Extras show Chicken Boy, my all time favorite artifact, and the perfect spread of refreshments for this Easter/Passover weekend, found at an art gallery. What could be better than matzo and Peeps!?
