Wound up in Wexford

Coprosma, we believe

I originally blipped the leaves of this shrub in 2016, at which time I thought we would probably plant it out within the next year.  At the time, we hadn't identified it, but we now think it is a variety of coprosma.

Well, it's had a hard life since then, remaining in the pot, surrounded by daffs and other bulbs.  It has dried out and almost died on at least one occasion.  But it is still going.  It has now grown to maybe a metre tall, though it is somewhat straggly.  It deserved a better life.  So today, W finally planted it out - complete with its surrounding bulbs.

It remains to be seen how tall it grows, but given what it has survived so far, I think we can happily prune it if it gets too thuggish.

In other news - it rained today - for about 2 minutes!
