A curtain of blossom

The blue sky is back again and a quick dash outside up to the top of my street, to capture my favourite blossom of the year! I wait for this tree to come into bloom every spring. I had to stand just behind a small, low hedge to get this shot from behind because the position of the sun was in a tricky place! 
The blossoms start out white with a pale green look about them. As they mature they get tinged with a delicate shade of pink.
