Sunshine on the Sill

Dear Diary,

Nothing like a vase of forsythia blooming on the window sill to lighten up a room.  I cut these last week to force.  Around here, spring is mainly a yellow time with the forsythia and the daffodils.  The daffs are just beginning to bloom and I hope that most of them will be out before I have to leave.

Serious work in the yard today as it appears we will have a sunny day for a change.  John will be here to continue work on the fence and Matt will be here to continue cleaning up winter debris.  The grass, or what passes for grass, in the yard is beginning to green up so Andrew will be mowing soon!
