Daisy

CCN and I are delighted to have a new addition to our Wombat family. Meet Daisy, a very special felted wool creation by our friend Anna, the Wombat rescue angel. Daisy is very special and we are happy to be looking after her now. Daisy in her past life was a little baby rescue wombat who was very , VERY unwell when Anna took over caring for her. Sadly the little wombat didn’t make it and died in Anna’s arms. We usually only hear about the feel good stories in these instances, but it’s poignant to hear that they don’t all have a happy ending.

It’s heartening to know that the little wombat didn’t die alone on the side of a road somewhere when her mother was hit by a car. She was in fact being nursed by a very loving human being when she passed.

We have created a special place for Daisy and she will welcome everyone who enters our living area.
