A checkered history

Hannah was wild! Many homes in Cork and Kerry lost their electricity but we just lost the internet. Not much damage here, just a few branches and oddly the lemon balm is singed. 
Still pretty windy but bright and we ventured briefly into Skibbereen and as usual I got entranced by the old tiles in dilapidated doorways. I also tried a sneaky shot of a nun selling- would you believe it -  plantain  balm but that didn't work! * Himself wasn't feeling brilliant so we didn't linger.

Later I met pals for a cuppa in the Heron Gallery. They have a very nice bird hotel set up - see extra. That's about it.
