Shaping Up!

We collected granddaughter Amelia from nursery to have some grandparent time. She was quite happy to go to Cwmbran Boating Lake again as she likes seeing the ducks and swans - especially the baby ones of which there were a few.

One of the staff informed us that the cygnets hatched on Monday and today was their first foray on the lake, so we were quite fortunate to see all seven with parents (see blipfoto).

The extra is the customary one of Amelia. She'd normally be top spot but the cute cygnets have beaten her this week as they're shaping up nicely for my Wide Wednesday challenge entry! 

Thanks to all who left hearts on my 2000 swan blip yesterday to send it to No1 spot on the popular page. The thumbnail today matches the one of yesterday..........I promise I won't do a swan tomorrow!!!!
