Wild garlic and ferns

This morning I went to Ifton Meadows for a walk. As is typical, the rain started as soon as I arrived.  I was glad that I'd brought my wellies as it was very muddy and slippery.

The woodlands contained a mass of wild garlic which looked very beautiful.  There are usually lots of bluebells in the wood but they were greatly reduced in numbers this year, perhaps the wild garlic  has out competed them.

It's been a mostly sunny afternoon so my timing wasn't good!

The extra shot is of the massed garlic in the wood.
