Now, as I see it......

Bletchley Park (Take 2)

The tickets we bought for our visit to Bletchley Park last week are valid for a year so today we went back to see the bits we missed last week.  We were there for well over two and. half hours and I think there are still some bits we didn't visit; there really is loads to see there.  The new D-Day video installation is quite something; a huge wide room with a twelve minute film projected right across one wall.  Very informative, and superbly presented.

One floor of the museum is currently closed for renovation but the other floor was still open and included this statue of Alan Turing which is made from half a million pieces of Welsh slate.  A brilliant man but with a sad life; the link is well worth a read if you don't know much about him.
