Buttercup

Was walking into town and happened past a patch of buttercups catching the sun. Loaded the 90mm macro and grab a couple of shots.
Grabbed a bag of mixed veg from Iceland and headed over to the duckponds, as I started scattering the veg around the pond to Mr Swan and some of the ducks Mrs Swan ventured down from the nest and joined in the foraging. All seven eggs still present and whole, no cracking yet.
The duck family were tucking in as well and I had to giggle at one of the ducklings fighting with a bit of green bean.
A trio of goldfinches appeared at one point in what I think was a courtship battle (two males, one female) after a little 'posturing' one flew off, the other two walked into the bushes.
