West Barns Stars

The lads watching the West Barns Star versus Leithen Rovers game at our local football field on this horrible afternoon. We were out for some much-needed air and followed the sound of shouting and whistling to find 22 hardy lads and rather fewer hardy supporters. We didn't stay for too long, but the good news is that our locals Star won 6-5 in the Waddell Cup. I hope they have a well-deserved good night!

I've not much interest in football, but with scores like 6-5 and 12-1 I might take more of an interest in future...

This weather is pretty awful, but tomorrow is forecast better. The ground is sodden so with the children away for the day I'll be present wrapping and hopefully along the coast on the bike.
