Happy hale

Our friends Angie and Jan have been working hard to get their wagon ready to go out on the road and sell their vintage Aloha shirts and ornaments. Angie just returned with the van all ready to go, logo and all. Happy Hale means Happy Home.

Our moods lightened a bit after the discussions of the day before - it's all about being free and being together, the task of a lifetime to learn!

Today we had our appointment with the Immigration Office, simply to see if we could get some real information on what rights we have with our visa. We were pleasantly surprised with the people there. Such a contrast to the embassy staff in Florence. We were met with smiles, even a joke from the security guard, and a very helpful and informative staff member. Such a pleasure!

In the evening we went for dinner upstairs at John and Angelo's. Really enjoyable, if a little unusual - me and seven men for dinner.
