Movement

I was working at the Kalmar theatre today. Kalmar Culture school was performing "Have you got time?", a dance performance with kids from 7-19 years of age. The audience were of course friends and family who did their best to support the dancers. I liked a lot of it actually, good ideas with fluorescent light, blip and extra, and great costumes. The kids were of course very nervous but did very well and you would like to have that kind of excitement among the performers every show at the theatre.

It's not possible to take good pictures with my iPhone during those conditions so it's just pointing and shooting, hoping something turns out nice. I thought these two shots from the opening number were quite special and the three girls doing their butterfly dance in fluorescent light were also very good. I would estimate the number of performers to about thirty, at least, but not a single boy among them. Pity.
