Setting off on the Thurgoland Boundary Walk

I did complete the nine miles though it took me longer than it would have done a few years ago.  I still ended up as the back marker, even though I wasn’t going to play that role.  After we came through Crane Moor I was aware that we had a group following us who didn’t quite seem to know where they were going so stopped to wait for them.  We eventually lost them in Silkstone as they were planning to stop at the pub.  The beer, pie and peas were very welcome when we got back.
