Corner Shed

Thanks to everyone for your lovely comments and hearts on yesterday's 2000th blip. I am humbled by your kindness and generosity.

Today I had a full day at Waddesdon Manor circulating in the positions around the House entrance and exit points so plenty of variety of tasks. The morning started quietly but it wasn't long before we heard that House tickets were sold out.
The grounds seemed very busy and there was a constant stream of visitors to the House. We then heard two coach loads of Belgian students had arrived but no record of their booking on our systems. We were already fully booked so another 140 was not possible. Except.... an arrangement was made and they were allowed in.

Controlling all this meant a manic period and I was at the front entrance (along with another volunteer) plus a security manager. We managed.
Almost all our visitors are lovely and accommodating of the few restrictions we impose. There are of course, a few who are a little more difficult! We keep smiling!

I had hoped for a few moments to catch a blip of Waddesdon. However, driving away I realised it had not happened. So, today was the time to stop for a blip of this old farm shed tucked away in a corner of a field; something I've been meaning to do for s long time.

J and I started to plan our routes this evening to and from Northumberland to take in a few sights along the way; we don't often go that far north so maximising the potential.
