Down in the Valley

On a day with quite a lot of rain there wasn't very much brightness, certainly not this morning.  That's a shame because it's Wideangle Wednesday (hosted by BobsBlips) and today's theme is 'Bright or Brightness'. There were a few times tis afternoon when there was some fleeting sunlight doing its best to break through. This was taken on one of those occasions. Old Walls Hill is named after the walls of the Bishop's Palace, the ruins of which are further down towards the village so we're looking down into the valley at the end of the woodland that surrounds the golf course. I liked the shape of this fine old tree so included it in a panoramic view.
