Miniature

I bought this miniature lilac many years ago but it has long outgrown the space it occupies. The form is more compact than the standard straggly lilac bushes and the flowers are indeed miniature but what they lack in size, they make up for in perfume. It has that sweet lilac smell very intensely.
No gardening today, we have had heavy rain showers all day, with only the briefest of gaps in between. I was playing Mah-Jong again this morning. Good company but luck didn't come my way.
