Clematis arch

A trellis arch erected 30 months ago, and planted with clematis a couple of years ago.  As mentioned before, we planned to have an early and late clematis on each side, but have ended up with 2 early on one side.  But all the clematis are now growing well.

We came back to the UK on the overnight ferry to Harwich, leaving rather lovely weather behind in Holland, and arriving to find rain in Harwich.  We've not had much energy or inclination for anything today, though I did do some washing, and I've also been shopping.  We're cold - we've lit a fire in the wood burner, and now I'm going to enjoy it.
