Learning to walk.

A couple of weeks ago I blipped Avocets with eggs.

Now we have a little one being closely guarded by its parents. A delight to watch. But a little worrying as there were more than one egg.
But some of the others had chicks too so we can hope for a good number to survive the first crucial weeks.

I thought the Green Winged Orchids, blipped last week, were worth a second showing so here they are in an extra.

The friends who are staying with us are thrilled with these highlights. We hope this afternoon to show them a wild English Lady’s Slipper Orchid in flower. If we are successful I may add another extra later.
Now later, two more extras. Birds Eye Primrose and the rare English Lady’s Slipper Orchid, Cypripedeum Calceolus flowering in the wild.
