Blue Sky Day

Tried a bit of exploring in a new area today and although quite an enjoyable place, I could still hear the road noise, so not as peaceful as I would have liked.

The track, such as it was, followed the stream which wasn't all that accessible, but at this point I could get close enough to use it as a leading line towards the trees.

In processing I tried featuring the sunlit grass on the right bank leading to the tall stand of dead grass and yellow leaves on the tree just to the left and also in the distance beyond. The dark branches in the foreground are a bit distracting, but they do echo the dead ash trees in the background somewhat.

Not much happening in the sky, but you got to take what your given.
