This afternoon we took some beach time at the Calas de Santa Pola. The wind was making moderate waves to my usual beach, so we went a bit south to escape the waves. There was another couple on the beach with us and when they left a woman came. So basically quite private beach experience. During the hottest summer if will look like this:

We also took the dogs uphill for their afternoon walk. Figured the wind will blow there better and there's less mosquitoes. We had a nice long walk in the Monte de Santa Pola and also took a visit to the mirador overlooking this beach too.

Weather is nice and cool. It went to chilly 14°C last night and today it's been 22°C on it's best. In the morning the sky was completely cloudy but during our walk it cleared out and we decided for the beach.

I heard a rumor that they have started to spray the mosquitoes, but not completely sure if that's correct. There's still plenty around. The dogs got their tick repellents yesterday and that also helps with the mosquitoes. It's still us humans who suffer.

Oh, and of course I went swimming!
