First picking

I wandered into the garden this morning for a small token of colour for the kitchen table. These are the first picking of the year.. lovely to have the clovey scented carnations and the sweet bluebells.  I hadn't realised just how strongly smelling the dark centaurea are either.. (I love those they are such a gorgeous shape)
