Big Bang

It's showtime!

The RHS Malvern Spring Festival and our busiest weekend of the year - not so much because we're full but because we also do a couple of 3hr stints at the showground for charities NGS and/or Perennial - the latter this year - and naturally spend more hours browsing the show, plants and tools.

We were pleased to see that the local school gardens have a much more prominent position this year - previously they've been tucked behind stalls.  

The professional show gardens were really nothing much to write home about, so this is one of the school ones. The theme was events in time and this is 'The Big Bang'.  Whilst not one for Creationism myself, I did rather like approach of the turf hand holding the 'bang'.

If it's looking a bit empty, this is after the show has officially finished - we had the last shift of the day.
