Gotcha!

That's dinner sorted.
Busy day, early morning walk along the estuary & up through the fields planted with miscanthus, plus lots of ball fetching with Yogi before heading off for my volunteering at the DPHT morning. Poo picking, & grooming the ponies in the glorious sunshine today. All swiftly completed, coffee break came around really quickly. Then off to Mum's with bread & milk, back home for a swift lunch with hubby, before getting back to feed Yogi. We went for a lovely walk this afternoon, exploring new territory. It's so nice to have good  walks on the doorstep without having to jump in the car. Yogi loves the water & the tide was in on the Teign estuary on the edge of Shaldon  when we got there so a perfect place for a swim and cool down before walking the lanes back home.
This Assassin/Robber fly with it's meal, a hoverfly I think,  spotted on the walk. The hedgerows & Devon banks are a mass of colour right now. Red Campion, bluebells, Mayflower, stitchwort, dandelions, & beautiful unfurling fern fronds. Heaven!
Found some lovely fresh herbs in the garden so a quick omelet of rainbow chard, garlic, onion, mushrooms finished off with lots of chopped chives, mint, marjoram & parsley. Easy dinner for 1 :)
