A treecreeper climbing the willow tree

I sensed some motion around this tree, waited and watched. This treecreeper returned more obviously and set off up the trunk of the willow tree. It looks strange but it is climbing normally even though it seems to be leaning backwards. I gather they are related to nuthatches, of which we have several in our garden, but I've only heard of a treecreeper there on one occasion, when our neighbour saw it.
