Kilfenora and Lisdoonvarna

Dear Diary,

After a wonderful breakfast and lots of lovely presents, we were off to Kilfenora to the Burren Center to see an exhibit of the history of the Burren, very interesting, and the high crosses. We then meandered our way over to Lisdoonvarna, known for its matchmaking festival every September. We had a nice light lunch where I captured this portrait of Patrick Woods, a local character.

Tonight, I’ve arranged a private performance for our group with Christie Barry, a renowned Irish musician to round out my birthday celebration. I won’t for get this one for sure!
