Today's the day …………………….. to make music

You really couldn't come to Ireland and not seek out some of the impromptu music-making that happens in virtually every pub in the land

So, last night we were in the Oyster Bar  in Dunfanaghy (where incidentally I had the best seafood chowder I have ever eaten) - and tonight we went across the road to Patsy Dan's.  Both were great nights with the music and singing coming from whoever happened to take it on.  They all seemed to join in effortlessly.  They all knew what key it was in - and if they didn't know the notes, they improvised.  Brilliant!

Will was in his element, of course - just had to swap saxophones for fiddles and accordions.  You can see the result here ……………………...
